Sorry I can't bring anyone from DC in that I'll be returning from Dulles where I'll be dropping off my true love who's going to Orlando to babysit her grandkids for a few days. What's crazier--flying to Orlando to babysit or driving 30 miles r.t for a chinese dinner?

Always room for one or two more"...now just to see if our friends can make it.

jparrott
There's a dingy little bar in the shopping center just west of SB (where Minerva is, chow-heads) called Patriots Cafe, if anyone wants to get a bit of a buzz going before (and/or after) the soiree tomorrow evening. Alternate venues can also be proposed, of course.

cucas87
This is a tough week for me at work, so if everyone meets at 7, I may be a little late, but it's not a big deal.
johnb
This is a tough week for me at work, so if everyone meets at 7, I may be a little late, but it's not a big deal. Considering that many folks will have to take I-66 or other similarly dicey routes to get there (rush hour congestion etc.), 7 may be a bit optimistic, especially for those who won't be leaving their desks until somewhat after 6pm. I'm thinking 7:30 may be a more realistic target, unless traffic is smooth as silk (yeah, right). Anyway, a few well-selected apps. can help the early birds while away the minutes. Those boiled peanuts for example.

I don't really remember who started last night's stampede. Admittedly it wouldn't have been as stupendous wthout Mr. Shen's generous expertise, but he was one of the latter enlistees. hillvalley
Okay, I am making a decision, at least for some of us Next Sunday, April 2nd at 5pm. That gives us plenty of time for a nice meal and still get home early enough because it's a school night. Who wants to take over the rest of the organization? I'm stretched a little thin right now
