Bostan Uyghur Cuisine, North Arlington and now Herndon

Recommended Posts

I had a quick dinner at Bostan Uyghur Cuisine the other evening, and it was really good cooking. A Kazan Lamb Kabob ($15.95) with Nan (not Rice) was everything you’d want it to be, based on the menu description and picture. It isn’t a skewer; it’s a lot of thin-sliced lamb meat served over a delicious piece of fresh Nan, with spring onions, cumin, ginger (in theory), and a drizzle of chili oil. It’s a hand-and-fork dish, and a darned good one.

No alcohol, but $20 cash paid for the entire meal. I would go back here in a heartbeat, and would have trouble coming up with better cooking in North Arlington.
